One of the better adventures of this year :)

17 Oktober 2015, Thanks to M-pictures.be and 4wdmagazine.nl i was able to travel along to capture
one of the best events i have been to this year!

More video’s coming soon.

All packed in the toyota of Marc, we started the long roadtrip (1240km) to Buzet, Croatia.

The car was packed with Marc stoffels, His dad Louis Stoffels, Inge bloeming, and me offcourse :)

During dawn the camera’s came back out to capture the beautifull landscapes.

Getting closer!

Woah, our house for the week?

After a small miscommunication we arrived at our house :)

We unpacked, and went into town for a coffee!

Back at the house, we got greeted by the renter! the drinking did not stop until we went home :P

Cheers!

Perfect house!

At the ‘camping’

Some crazy Belgium people arrived!

The end of day 2. :P

19 October, Monday monday!

Terrible weather started during the night, and continued during the morning.

guaranteeing lots of mud and slippery slopes!

Briefing and introduction!

Onto the first mud of this week!

First up was the proloque, 1 small lap of about 400 meters, trough a nasty mud hole, up the hill around a tree, and  back down, as fast as possible offcourse :)

Those without portal axles will always need to winch.

Jeep V8 power :D

Allthough portal axles are no guarantee ;)

The quads lining up for their circle race!

While the 2 quad participants were busy with racing about, the 4×4 drivers were briefed up.

The first croation mud is a fact! :P

The cars lining up for a epic circle race. 8 laps of pure madness

End of monday!

20 october, tuesday! the start of the first road book.

the 2 quad drivers got the soft roadbook, making it a perfect challenge for everyone.

Damiano offroad to capture some great video!

setting up the trip masters.

After briefing we went into the countryside of beautifull croatia

dutch people be crazy.

Marc is a pro with his gopro!

Each roadbook is around 60~120km long, we only get to see very very little.

Here we are at a long uphill, covered with loose surface, no one was able to drive it. winching was the only solution.

After the most teams passed, we drove to another press point!

A big V-notch going downhill, some drove, some winched!

Epic Go-pro footage!

The end of day 4!

Good morning! After much beers and pizza, it was time to go on some hiking.

We get at Wednesday, 21 October.

One of the most recognizable poins of the Wild boar Valley Challenge!

The first and fastest team, drove up without winching or trouble.

My first sony

Onto another press point!

And in desperate search for another press point!

we came to see a few more teams on their way to the finish :)

Thats it for day 5.

Day 6, Thursday! 22 October.

Another great challenge for the teams!

A large uphill V-notch, around 3 meters deep

Only capable of driving with much winching and co-pilot assistance.

Looks like a only a few are capable of keeping the car straight for most of the time.

But the slippery sides make it difficult!

The end of day 6.

day 7 for us! 23 October.

Arrival at the press point. :D

abandoned house.

And at another press point! the teams are very much apart at this point, so waiting was very long :(
